A belated announcement...but better late than later. Or never.
Renae is officially 10 months old!
And here she is, displaying what we have affectionately dubbed "The Scrunchy-Nose Face."
At ten months, Renae has swallowed some grow-up-too-fast pill.
...Well, technically she's right on track...but we'd like her to slow down...just a little!
She....
-is still coasting along furniture with ease...and getting braver every day.
-can get from her bum onto her hands and knees...and then take off on all fours. We're glad (?) she's crawling!
-has four teeth all the way through and two more on the verge of cutting through. Anyone want a baby for a week or two? She's been crrraaaaaanky. She's also teethed on the top from right to left...not the usual two front ones, then side ones. She's got a lopsided little mouth for now with the two top right ones in :)
-waves hello...when she feels like it :)
-loves books. And loves to 'read' them to herself in a sing-songy voice. Wonder where she got the elementary-school-teacher intonation from....? Darren.....?
-is pulling up on furniture now. How cute is it to go in to get a baby who's standing up in her crib? So cute.
-loves paper. And knows to stuff it in her mouth quick or Mom will take it away. Too bad Mom still takes it away...
-has her i'm-bashful-and-adorable act down pat when people come up to her in stores and tell her she's cute....complete with head resting on Mom's shoulder, shy smile, and gazing at them from big blue eyes under long lashes. Such a performer. This one's gonna be trouble, I tell ya.
-gives high-fives
-gives big, slobbery, open-mouth kisses....but again, when she feels like it.
-loves to be applauded. We went to a talent show recently...and every time the audience clapped for a finished act, she beamed...because, of course every one was clapping for her...
Love that Renae-bee Baby. We can't believe she'll be one in two months.

she's a dolly! at church, every time i would "hiii renaeeee" she'd whip out the "tilt-head-and-smile-shyly" dealio. she's definitely got it down pact! cuuuute!

Wow, already a year in a bit eh? Crazy how time flies-
you change your blog so often because you have a ton of amazing pictures of your guys. I'd be changing it too! They're too good not to share!
