Five Things

1) This picture. It simultaneously makes me want to hug her...and giggle. Hug her because I love my sweet baby girl and want her to feel better. Giggle because I'm glad I captured this, even in my calloused state of exasperation; this was probably the 60th time in as many minutes as she had been in tears about something-or-another. All I could do was take a picture of how cute she is when she cries. For posterity, you know. But don't worry, I hugged her after I took the picture.

2) We just had a police officer visit our house and demand my ID to make sure I wasn't April Bond. Apparently she has some outstanding warrants. She also used to live here, as evidenced by the occasional piece of mail that still arrives here for her. No wonder our landlord and neighbours love us. We just pay our bills and keep the law and stuff. BO-RING. So...um yeah, if you see April Bond anywhere, tie her up in your backyard or something.

3) One more week until THE ultrasound. Darren's insisting we find out the gender this time...we'll see if that happens.

4) Micah is potty training. It takes SO much of my patience. But I'm determined this time, no matter how long it takes. Wish me luck. Or maybe wish me extra patience. I probably need that more.

5) We've decorated our little 3-foot Christmas tree and are officially listening to Christmas music. Usually, it's December 1st, but I think it will be the middle of November from now on. It's given me a chance to actually get in the Christmas-Crafting Spirit before feeling like Christmas is already over anyways. It means my kids might actually get a REAL advent countdown this year. Like, not the 99 cent waxy chocolate ones. Ew.

I LOVE that picture - I have one somewhere of Josh mid-meltdown. (Much cuter to look at years later, or at least after they've gone to bed!)
