Mr. Eighteen Months

This little guy...

...is 18 months old. 

He can officially go to nursery...although he's been going for a couple months now when both Darren and I have lessons to teach on the same Sunday.

He is goofy.

He can clearly say bus with the cutest little lisp. And up. And car. And all-gone and all-done.

And then he has all sorts of ways to say blanket, bird, puppy, chicken, etc. but you're going to need a translator  (aka: mother) for those.

He wants to do everything his big sister does. If she's walking, he refuses to be carried. If she's pulled something out of her closet to dress-up in...then off he goes to pull something off a hanger for himself, too.

He is still a Mama's boy. But Daddy is increasingly an appropriate alternative.

He is still so SO so snuggly. We have frequent cuddle breaks during the day.

He still goes to absolute mush for a soft blanket, complete with cooing and sighs.

Add a lullaby and the kid is asleep in 10 seconds flat. This is a far cry from the baby he used to be. I'm glad it's improved.

He screams when he doesn't get his way. Or his sister rips yet another toy from his hands.

Screams.

He also loves to tease. Already! He does something, watches for a reaction, and then gives this mischievous look that is, at once, both heart-melting and maddening.

Stinker.

He still has impossibly huge eyes and enviously long eyelashes.

He also has awful eczema, on his feet in particular. We're waiting for an appointment with the dermatologist. It's so sad :(

He started out his life HUGE and has slowed right down. I think he's been wearing 18month clothing since he was 9 months old. He's still wearing 18mos stuff.

He still out-eats Renae. ALL the time.

He's gives sweet kisses, 

loves to pull hair, 

and absolutely adores watching anyone play Angry Birds.

We love our little Micah-moo.
