The Moving Week POEM.

(ahem.)

We're here in our house, we made it, we're glad!

We survived all the rain; it wasn't so bad

So now with a backyard (and grass that is green!)

Unpacking like maniacs (a sight best left unseen.)

We may not have phone 'til the 10th of May

But we have good ol' internet...oh happy day!

Laura's started the kitchen, the basement's for Darren

And none of us can seem to find clothes fit for wearin'

Can you guess what Darren first unpacked and shelved?

Why, he into the camping and hiking gear delved!

But are we surprised, really? Not in the least.

(P.S. Our first meal at home was a McDonald's feast.)

Renae was a dreamboat (almost!) the whole moving week

Playing, and coasting, speaking baby-greek

But, she made sure we knew how she felt about being

Second to boxes and move-in-date-guaranteeing.

A big shout-out to those Cahoons that we love;

they let us stay over; into their garage, stuff we shoved.

You guys rocked the move-in; We sure appreciate that!

This poem's definitely over, We're running out of words

If we keep going, we'll start saying things like "absurd."

So off we go, to cardboard we're seeing in dreams

(And the answer is yes: we're as strange as we seem!) HA.
