Welcome to Saskatoon.

We have arrived!
See the big green dot?
Seems I'm determined to make my way accross this country one province at a time.
BC, then Alberta, now Saskatchewan.
Next stop: ....Manitoba?
Um, no. Well, at least not for a looong time.
We're here for the long haul, meaning what's left of Darren's prerequisites and degree(s). So here's to the next 8 years or so!
So far, we love it here. Saskatoon's a city of about 200,000, and definitely a "college-town." The University of Saskatchewan draws quite the crowd. Lots of young families, too, which is nice. The city is big enough to have everything you need, but small enough to get anywhere you need to go in 10-15min, thanks to some good urban planning...a far cry from the 30-40min in Calgary.
Our apartment has TWO rooms! and I have a full kitchen again! And access to all my dishes!
Yee-haw!
I feel pretty spoiled.
Funny, how that works...
Darren's a 3min bus ride from the University and started classes last week. He's got a full load and is already working hard to stay on top of it all. Yuck. Good luck to him. There are some things I'm missing about school. And then there's some things I'm really not.
Renae is growing so fast. She's just acting so....big. Her favourite thing to do these days is to get pulled into a standing position. She can support her own weight for a little while, even. I keep telling her she's not supposed to do that yet.
She just grins.

Well it must be super nice to know you will be in one place for such a long time. It's my dream. Hopefully you will come back out to Alberta for family gatherings so we can see you guys and your little girl. She is a cutie. Keep posting pictures so we can see her grow.. :)
