It was also the weekend where Darren worked pretty much non-stop for three days straight shooting volleyball nationals. He survived!
But most importantly, it was the weekend where this certain brother got to go through the temple. He has recently been assigned to serve as a missionary for two years in the Peru, Chiclayo Mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. He is leaving August 24th and he is going to be awesome.
So, this weekend was a really special one. For a special guy. Of whom I'm 'specially proud.

Laura! That is very exciting. Peru is an amazing mission. My brother-in-law served there and my parents just spent 2 weeks there. It will be a very hard and incredible mission.
