Thoughts that have crossed our minds this weekend:
-Our new neighbours are a little creepy looking. And they have a car parked in their backyard...?
-Our new house smells like cigarette smoke. WHHYYY does it smell like cigarette smoke???!
-Did our landlord even CLEAN this place before we moved in? Geeeeez.
-Love all the natural light in this place!
-Excited to cook in that kitchen. SO much more counter and cupboard space than the last.
-I HAVE A DISHWASHER!!! Ya-HOOO!
-That park across the street is the perfect size for Renae right now. Sa-weet!
-New ward: SO friendly and welcoming. Also includes one former boyfriend, and one bishop who dated Darren's sister. Both in bishopric...familiar faces, at least?! Ha.
-This ward's got some serious musical talent. Love that we got to be here for Easter Sunday.
-Also: we have noisy kids. This ward is verrrry reverent.
-The young guy in the basement kind of reminds me of someone who could be on the show Jersey Shore. Not that I've ever seen the show...but from what I know, it fits.
-It takes for-ev-er to get anywhere in this city. Well....compared to Saskatoon. So really, it shouldn't be so surprising...and yet, it is...
-We have awesome family and friends. But that's not really a first impression; we kind of knew that one already. We really appreciated the move-in help!
We're here, we're safe, we're alive!
And we're slowly getting rid of the smell of smoke. Excellent.

We're happy that you are safe and enjoying your new ward! I wish my best of luck with the cigarette smoke...That sucks.
I've heard that leaving some bowls of popped popcorn around for a day or two will absorb bad smells - it worked in my friends' house. Good luck
oh a dishwasher! That is exciting!
Once you have a dishwasher you will never go back.
Your new address, please?
