Raaaaandom.

Well.
We're moving to Calgary. But that's not really news.

This is: we're moving at the end of April!!! Which is a lot earlier than the end of the summer, which is when we were originally planning to say adios.

We are sad to leave Saskatoon. We kind of expected to be here for a lot longer than 2 years, so this move still feels a little abrupt, even though we've known about it for while now. We've made friends that will be ours forever and made good use of our snow shovel. We've appreciated how kind Saskatchewan is to poor little families and loved our little homes.

In case you're confused, we're headed to Calgary to pursue a job...and eventually career...in photography! Darren will be working doing school and sports photography for Murphy Classic Photography. For just this year, he'll be the workhorse photographer--more or less--and getting a feel for what the company is and does, and getting to know the owner better. Beeeeeecause...the end of the year will bring a decision as to whether Darren wants to become a partner in the company...or not. Darren will also (cross fingers!) be going to school this year at the UofC to continue finishing his bachelor's in Geography. It's an official goodbye to dental for him..but in all reality, dental is just not in the cards...and--really--was just the job that gave Darren the freedom to pursue photography on the side anyways. Let's just cut out the expensive and time consuming middle-man, shall we? O-kay.

So off we go. Excited and sad. Happy and nervous.
