Renae asks for the following things 50 times a day. Each.
It's a cycle. She'll finish one activity...say a puzzle or colouring... and then start on the list below. And she'll keep asking until you distract her with something else. Orrrr give in. Whichever.
-Nyaaaa? (English: Snack) This request is also accompanied by a scrunched nose. In the way someone might scrunch their face up while saying "huh??" Hilarious to see.
-Do-do? (English: Dora...as in, the Explorer.) I'm so sick of this show. But I let her watch it occasionally because I like how it's simple and repetitive for language development. Maybe I'm more-so just sick of saying No, no Dora five hundred times a day.
-Baaa? (English: Bath.) This one is also hilarious to see because it's accompanied by the ASL sign for it. Well, Renae's interpretation of the sign, anyways...which looks like a monkey scratching their armpits.
-Ish? (Eng. Show.) This usually specifically means the oldschool Disney sing-alongs. I scored a couple of these on VHS at Value Village for 50 cents each. We watch them together while I fold laundry. And sing-along? She doesn't mind if I do. Pocahontas never had such great back-up.
-Eeee? (Eng: Eat.) If the request for nyaaaa? doesn't work, this one comes next. Y'know, to clarify what she means...because if I actually understood what she was asking, I wouldn't keep saying no...right?
-Buh-buh? (Eng: book.) And she'll have one in her hands, ready to go.
The conclusion: Renae's perfect day would consist of watching TV shows and reading books while taking a bath and eating snacks.
...But, really...who could blame her?

Add a little Lindt chocolate to that bubble bath combo, and it sounds pretty good!
