Did You Know?

-That Renae and Micah wear the same size diapers? She's 19 months...he's 3 months.

-That you can hide broccoli puree in spaghetti sauce...and chili? I'm on a kick where I sneak vegetables into my family. Mwahaha.

-That Renae slept through the night at 8 weeks? And I'm getting impatient with Micah for not doing the same. I mean, really, it's not like he needs the extra calories or anything! C'mon, Kid!


-That Darren likes to eat applesauce in his Kraft Dinner? Ew.

-That Renae says "NOooo" in this really funny way that's beyond cute? Sometimes I ask her questions that I know she'll say no to, just to hear her say it. Again, and again.

-That Renae is obsessed with the potty? We've started babysitting again, and the little girl we babysit uses the potty like a big kid. Renae is fascinated. Time to start potty training...while it's still interesting.

-That we got a futon? Come visit!

-That Darren still does his paper route? Even when it's -40 degrees Celsius outside. He's my hero.

-That Micah talks to himself? And his toys. Especially if we're in Wal-Mart and he has his car-seat bug toy to blab at. They must have really interesting things to talk about when we're at Wal-Mart. I can just imagine: did you see the size of the mullet on THAT lady? I'm totally growing one of those when I'm grown up...

-That Darren makes a mean batch of Potstickers? If we could only have bags of those, and boxes of Lucerne "Nuttin' Better" ice cream in our freezer forevermore, we would probably be a-okay with it.

-That we're probably moving to Calgary in the Fall? And that it will be the first step in the direction of photography as a career for Darren, thanks to a really stellar opportunity to work in the area of school and sports photography with these guys. Okay, really....the truth is, we're choosing photography because we love ramen noodles and mac'n'cheese so much: we want to eat them for the next 10 years. Baha.
