Our Ho-Ho-Ho's

Are you getting tired of me posting yet? ...Wait. Don't answer that. I'd rather enjoy my blissful ignorance on that one.

HOla to a new addition to the family!
Nope, not Micah Ross. A NEW(to-us) CAR! It looks like this...although this isn't actually ours, just some random off the internet.

We had been trying reeally reeeeeally hard to hold off as long as we possibly could on purchasing a larger vehicle. And we would have lasted a lot longer, too....had it not been for our schizophrenic heater that just decided to quit on us...for good...in the middle of our first major snowstorm. Love that.

With that, a non-working block heater, and other such things that needed a good fix...this -20degree celsius weather has been... interesting. As in, Darren's had to bundle up and drive with the window down so that his breath doesn't freeze to the inside of the window. Not even joking a little.

The repairs were going to cost more than the car was worth. We thought we were kind of hooped because we hadn't saved up enough for a decent vehicle just yet and nowhere gives car loans to full-time students. Luckily, one dealership offered us a loophole for financing so we could actually get a vehicle that didn't feel like we were really riding in a one-horse-open-sleigh while getting frostbite.

And so, without further ado, we introduce the 2006 Chrysler Pacifica that has made its way into our driveway. Name of vehicle is yet to be determined, and will likely come out with 2 names since Darren and I can never agree on what to name our car. Baha.

HOme looks like Christmas!
We busted out Christmas decorations this week. Growing up, we always waited until around Dec. 1st...but since we travel for the holidays, it never feels like enough time to enjoy it all. We even got a little fakie tree this year to decorate.
