Doesn't she have a beautiful mama?
Besides getting to meet the first baby of one of my best buds, we also got to...
-see the Lonsdale clan (or most of them, anyway)
-watch conference sessions complete with bags of conference candy. So many great talks. So much sugar.
-have brekky at an uh-mazing restaurant in Edmonton called Cora with the Jonesons (if you are close to E-town, grab breakfast here sometime, you won't be sorry!)
-enjoy time with the Holsts, Darren's sister's family...where we were spoiled with a scrumptious lunch and good company.
-sing "The Wheels on the Bus" five hundred times, mostly while keeping Renae entertained in the back of the car. Other times, just to perform for relatives. Ask sometime to see how she can do 'the babies on the bus': her wah-wah-wah is pretty dang cute.
We were sad that Darren couldn't come...yet again (poor guy)...due to school responsibilities and such. But the good news is that he got to take pictures, and if there's any consolation for his not being able to come along to Alberta, that would be it. Check out his photography site if you haven't recently...it's out of sheer pride in my sweet hubby that I encourage the peek. :)

They also have Cora's in Calgary. I love it!
I just ate at Cora for my first time last week. Delicious!! They're getting one in Sherwood Park at the end of the month, too!!
Claire sure looks like her daddy's side of the family.
And, I'm looking forward to seeing Renee sing "The Wheels on the Bus". Always been one of my favorites!
