For the past few months, we've been hopelessly trying to get Renae to love getting up on all fours. It usually resulted in her crying and yelling, refusing to hold herself up and just trying to roll over instead. We gave up. She reeeeeeally loved walking so we thought, cool, walking works too. Maybe she'll skip crawling.
...Until this weekend. She literally decided to get up on all fours, crawl forward, get from her tummy onto her bum, and from her bum onto her tummy....within the last 48 hours. We're pretty sure she's been secretly practicing in her crib when we're not looking...all with the intent of blowing us away.
It worked.
And with our beaming, proud-parent grins plastered on our faces, we looked at each other yesterday when she busted out her first crawls forward....and said "Uh-oh..."
It has begun.
It's now time to baby proof our house.
Did you know that Renae can fit 3 puzzle pieces in her mouth? Cuz I sure didn't until today...

She can fit 3 puzzles pieces in her mouth?! Should that be a congrats or a worry? Thats so exciting that she is crawling!
