Woo-hoo for Teeth!

Well, all the drooling has finally paid off.
(Seen often lately: snotty nose, red-rimmed eyes, mouth clamped CLOSED.)

The day after I arrived home from AB, Darren and I spotted a little white bump making its way through her bottom gums.
We were SO excited, and wanted to look at it fifty more times that day.

We don't know if it's still there....Renae won't let us look anymore.

Before it appeared, she would frequently let me lay her semi-upside-down on my lap, open up her little mouth, and inspect. Since the first glimmer of hope, she now keeps her mouth clamped shut with remarkable determination whenever I try to check it out. If I do manage to get a finger in there to feel around, she pushes it out full-force with her tongue.

Sometimes we get glimpses of The Inside when she smiles, talks, or cries...but not long enough to get any definitive information on her teeth-growing escapades.
We're going nuts in suspense!

We may not know any more than that until she lets us back in. Or we get mean enough to force our way in.

But by then she might be 2 and chomping on beef jerky with a full mouthful.

we found if you want a good look inside keep tickling them until they open up for a big laugh, the mouth is usually open long enough for a good look.
